Even though the One Sick Dream website has not been finished by far, we decided to make it go live anyway! 🙂
During the next few weeks the One Sick Dream website will be further adjusted until it will finally be finished. During these weeks there will be posted new blogs on the website.
This will be done to generate an audience and to keep everyone updated on our plans and development. This way we can also see what needs to be changed or added to make the website completely functional.
Today the invitation for our saying goodbye party has been finished and is ready to be sent. I must say that I am starting to get a little bit nervous now since it is all getting really close now.
There are still a lot of steps for us to be taken before departure day is finally there. Things like vaccines, flight tickets and visa for instance.
For me it is time to go to bed now, because tomorrow is my final working day for 2016 and after that there are some more preparations to be made for Christmas dinner.
UPDATE:
It has almost been a year now since the website has been running. It has become a nice platform for fellow travellers to find information on where to go, especially in South East Asia and South America. On top of that it has also become our personal journal to look back on all that we have done and experienced during our one year of travelling around the world. And looking back at what we have done, it has been a lot! Our personal favourite, which is hard to choose though, is most likely our engagement at Everest Basecamp, Nepal.
As for the charity we would like to set up, we are still working on that and trying to sort our what kind of information we still need. As for this website, it is functioning without any major difficulties and we still keep updating and tweaking it on a regular basis. If you find any bugs, glitches or improvements that you think should be implemented then please let us know in a comment below.
